Producers are encouraged to sign up to receive a mental health survey by Farm Management Canada and Farm Credit Canada. Your responses will help with future farmer support. Signing up is free, and your responses will remain confidential. The deadline to sign up is Nov. 29, 2019. Click here for more information and the sign-up link. 

Mental health program by Do More Agriculture, Farm Credit Canada expanding

Following a successful one-year pilot project, Do More Agriculture (DMA) Foundation and Farm Credit Canada (FCC) are extending and expanding their partnership to bring mental health awareness and training to rural Canada. In 2020, Farm Credit Canada will invest an additional $100,000. Read the full article here.

BBQ in Arnprior, Ont., for World Mental Health Day

Tomorrow, Oct. 10, is World Mental Health Day. Join Farm Management Canada (FMC), Do More Ag, Peavey Industries and other organizations for a barbecue at TSC Stores Arnprior, 60 Staye Ct. Dr., Ont., from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

FMC and Do More Ag are also announcing their $50,000 grant from Peavey Industries to support a series of one-day mental health workshops in rural Ontario near London, Guelph, Kawartha Lakes, North Grenville in winter 2019-20. Mental health awareness program accepting community leader applications

September 24, 2019

The rural mental health training program presented by the Do More Agriculture Foundation (DMA) and Farm Credit Canada (FCC) has officially launched for the second year. They are now accepting applications for community leaders to bring the fully funded mental health training program to their rural communities across Canada.
