PAUL VIS - 2nd Vice-Chair

 
PAUL VIS Paul Vis, a dairy farmer near Aylmer, Ontario, was elected to the Board of Dairy Farmers of Ontario (DFO) in 2009. He represents milk producers in the counties of Elgin, Essex, Kent, Lambton, and Middlesex. Mr. Vis was elected 2nd Vice-Chair in January 2016. He has previously been involved with both the Elgin Dairy Producer Committee and the Wentworth Dairy Producer Committee.

Mr. Vis chairs the Governance Committee, and also serves on the Markets and Allocation Committee, and the Transportation Committee; as well as the DFO Advisory Committee for Transportation.  He is also a DFO representative on the Canadian Milk Supply Management Committee, the Milk Testing Laboratory Management Committee, the P5 Transportation Committee, and the P5 Supervisory Body Committee.

Mr. Vis and his family milk 250 cows and crop 600 acres. He and his wife, Maryanne, have two sons and three daughters. They operate the farm with their sons and one of their daughters.
